Many describe Jolly Mare as the “new face of Italian Disco”, a description that might seem limiting in his case. Limiting for the extent of genres and references picked by the producer and DJ, for the deviations and sudden turns in style which he is happy to offer with his dizzying inventiveness. He has released on labels such as Slow Motion (DE), Bad Panda (IT) and Itchy Pig (UK) and his curriculum has grown with his attendance at Red Bull Music Academy 2013 in New York, his collaboration with Thundercat, his opening set at Masters At Work and his presence at festival such as Parklife and Tramlines. He just signed with Bastardjazz label for the release of his first LP “Mechanics” out the 8th of April that it’s already catching the attention of both critics and public.
