MUNK is the DJ/ producer name of MATHIAS MODICA. Mathias runs Germany’s leading Indie Disco & Future House label GOMMA along with Jonas TELONIUS Imbery. Described by The NME as “…the German answer to DFA records” Munk and Gomma have released some of the biggest tunes of the new Indie House scene: “Kick Out The Chairs!” – the coop between James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem and Munk. “Ce Kool” (Munk & DJ Chloe) and in the last years “La Musica” which has been played by everybody from Shit Robot to Erol, Annie Mac, Tim Sweeney, Luciano and Ellen Alien.
